I SO appreciate Coach Tara. I am Tina, 61 years old. I have been doing SOME kind of fitness since 1989. I am a food addict and have been in 12-step recovery for 5 years. My weight has been stable for most of that time, but my body composition has not. I used to think of exercise as THE way to control my weight (and my over-eating). Now it is CRUCIAL to my mental, emotional. spiritual health and physically to reverse osteoporosis and muscle loss. I am determined to stay as STRONG, BALANCED and FIT as I can through this (possibly) Act 3 of my life. From Jan 2023-June of 2024 I was working out at a Boot Camp style gym 4-6 days a week consistently but not able to gain traction with muscle building/body fat reduction. (The facility has an InBody scale which I have used to track body comp. My weight does not really concern me at this point.) I let go of my membership at that gym for this month to see if Tara's program is sustainable and gives me results. I am 100% working out at home. Since I began this regimen, the changes in my body comp are noticeable visually. The first month I did Train Like Tara, I am just completing week 3 of month 2 workouts. I LOVE these workouts so much. They are DOABLE and don't take HOURS. The focus on the weight training is making a difference. I do run and do HIIT at home on the days I am not weight training or sometimes I double up and do both on the same day.
